你好，我是高宇彤，住在加州山景城，是 Google 的一名软件工程师。

Hi, I'm Yutong Gao. I live in Mountain View, California, and work as a software engineer at Google.

工作之外，我喜欢慢慢地旅行：坐火车穿过一个国家，在寺庙、古战场和博物馆之间走走停停，读一读路边石碑上的字。最近的一次是 2025 年底在英国和爱尔兰自驾：从伦敦出发，经过坎特伯雷、牛津、约克郡和诺森伯兰，一路开到苏格兰，再横穿爱尔兰，到大西洋边的莫赫悬崖。再往前，2024 年冬天，我在日本待了三个多星期，从北海道走到九州，接着又在土耳其开车绕了一圈。

Outside work, I like to travel slowly: crossing a country by train, wandering between temples, old battlefields and museums, and stopping to read the stones by the road. Most recently, at the end of 2025, I drove through Britain and Ireland: out of London by way of Canterbury, Oxford, Yorkshire and Northumberland up to Scotland, then across Ireland to the Cliffs of Moher on the Atlantic. Before that, in the winter of 2024, I spent three and a half weeks in Japan, from Hokkaido down to Kyushu, and then drove a loop around Turkey.

I also help run Yanxia (烟霞), a series of themed talks on epics, history and literature, now more than a hundred and sixty sessions in.
