How did patristic philosophy give way to scholasticism? - How did Spinoza and others inherit Anselm's ideas? What criticisms did later philosophers make of Anselm's ontological argument? - What are scepticism and empiricism? How did people in the seventeenth century view the conflict between faith and empiricism? - How do you think later generations will see our own age?
